A letter, 1795 December 20, Theodorick Lee to Bushrod Washington requests legal advice on a land dispute and in the case of Weathers vs. Hite. A letter, 1798 March 4, Thomas Lee, Jr. to Bushrod Washington, sends family news and concerns a suit in England in which the British government is involved for which depositions need to be taken and the Virginia governor informed. A letter, 1804 December 14, Ludwell Lee to Daniel Call, concerns a suit brought against Lee and General Henry Lee as representatives of Col Philip Ludwell Lee by a London merchant. A letter, 1805 January 18, Ludwell Lee to Daniel Call, gives more information on the claims against the estate of Philip Ludwell Lee. A letter, 1811 August 29 Charles Lee to Daniell Call, concerns cases at the next court session particularly one against the Virginia Company. With it is a letter to Call from William Hopkins, 1811 August 30, concerning the same case.
